Christmas in a Cup
Fellow coffee addicts, I have good news for you…the Starbuck’s holiday cups are here! And so are the holiday favorites—gingerbread lattes and peppermint mochas.
Yesterday on the bus, I saw a girl holding a red Christmas cup and couldn’t help but smile. Today on my way to class, I went to Starbucks and ordered a peppermint mocha – my personal favorite. It tastes like “Christmas in a cup.†The combination of chocolate, candy cane, and whipped cream is fantastic. If you are looking for a more unique drink, I suggest trying a mix of two classics. A pumpkin spice/gingerbread latte—absolutely delicious.
The $3.50 I pay for a tall latte is definitely worth it. There is a comforting feel about Starbucks that always reminds me of being at home.  It’s a pick-me-up when I’m feeling down, miss my mom and dad, or want to experience the happiness of the holiday season. That holiday-themed sleeve is a ticket to coffee heaven.
