A College Girl’s Guide to: A Fabulous Summer in Ann Arbor, Part IV

Grill baby grill.
Tip #4: Grill out. A lot. And cook! (Yes, you can). Mmm, summer barbeque. Grab some chuck, dogs, chicken, what have you and invite your pals over for a grill out!
Coming from someone whose idea of cooking doesn’t stray far from a box of macaroni and cheese, grilling is super easy to do (who knew?) and super delicious. Better yet, make your boy friend or those cute boys that live across the street do it for you (heyyy neighbors!).Â
Garnish that meat with a fresh summer salad, chips, or a forty, whatever your style is. Also worth doing is investing in a cook book of easy summer recipes (or consulting your old friend Google) and hitting Trader Joe’s to do some cheap and healthy shopping. And there are a lot of tips online too.
Cooking can be fun and relaxing and much easier than you’d think, and let’s be honest, there’s only so much fine dining at Charlie’s, Pizza House, and Back Room (ha, ha) your wallet and your waistline can take.
