A Latte Festivity

A Pumpkin Pie Latte

A Pumpkin Pie Latte

Hot lattes are to chilly weather as blankets and books are to rain, and the best thing about the colder months is the abundance of seasonal beverages in coffee shops. Here are five festive flavors you really ought to try:

Pumpkin Pie: Not to be confused with the slightly bitter pumpkin spice, a pumpkin pie latte is super sweet with whipped cream and cinnamon powder on top. Available at Espresso Royale.

Espresso Truffle: A luxurious, super-duper chocolate latte that’s perfect for any cocoa aficionado. Get it at Starbucks during the holidays.

Crème Brûlée Latte: There’s actually a Facebook group called, “Crème Brûlée Lattes should be for life, not just for Christmas.” I couldn’t agree more.

S’mores Latte: Exactly what it sounds like – marshmallow-y, caffeinated goodness that’ll no doubt bring back memories of campfires. Find this drink at your nearest Biggby Coffee!

Peppermint Mocha: I love chocolate, I love peppermint, and I REALLY love coffee. This is why peppermint mocha is hands down my favorite cold-weather drink. Starbucks’ version is my number-one choice, but you should be able to find this flavor at most coffee shops when December rolls around.  Along with a festive cup.

And if spending tons of cash on seasonal lattes isn’t your thing, try making your own at home!
