Back to School Chronicles: Paper

It'll be nice to have my notes pre-doodled.
It’s hard to get excited about those 10-cent, 70 page standard notebooks that you can pick up at any drugstore. The notebook paper from Rock Paper Scissor on the other hand is getting me downright ecstatic for classes to start.
Rock Paper Scissor and its products are the work of the Bauer sisters, Susie and Heidi. They say they are inspired by their childhood – their parents were European immigrants and as a result, the sisters grew up “celebrating pop culture and mass-produced objects of the era as a visual personification of the American dream”.  While their products are available online and at various stores throughout North America and in various countries, their stationary items are manufactured in California.Â
Well known for the typical line of greeting cards and personalized stationary, I’m really digging the notebooks with faux wood paneling or sassy phrases on the covers. And if you’re still using trapper-keepers, there’s loose leaf paper with designs like owls, hearts, and exploding jewels speckled along the margins.
They’re all so cute, I can’t wait to start taking notes!
