Coveroo

On a typical day when walking through the diag, I constantly see people talking on their phones.  But I’m sick of the silver and black, the obnoxiously bright Blackberry covers, and the general humdrum look of cellphones today. There seemed to be no other option. Then along came Coveroo.
At a marketing event over the summer, I met a man who convinced me to engrave my phone with a fun design. A “coveroo” is what he called it. Â The Coveroo company has a large supply of cell phone back covers. They literally replace the back of your cell phone with a new backing engraved with a selected design. You choose the artwork and text, they use their high quality laser to engrave the back.
Coveroo offers a wide variety of designs for your cell phone. I chose the peace sign but now I’m getting a little sick of it. My suggestion would be your favorite NBA team (they have nearly every one) or a Michigan “M” to show your school spirit (despite the football scores). Keep it simple with a butterfly or go all out with an engraving of Marilyn Monroe. Show everyone that you Baracked the Vote with the newest choice of President Barack Obama.
Coveroo does all of their business over the internet, although they’re slowly making their way into Best Buy stores around the country. It’s simple: pick your design online, select the phone that you have, add a custom text, pay via credit card, and the new back for your cell phone will arrive in just a few days. And, the best part? Coveroo designs are usually no more than $30, perfect for a student budget.
Check out Coveroo for all of their designs choices. It’s time for a new fad on campus. I’m thinking it might just be Coveroo covers.
