Okay, so what’s with college girls wearing bows in their hair?

And I’m not talking about the cute, little bows attached to headbands. I’m talking about the ginormous kind that look adorable on 2 year olds, not 22 year olds.

I saw a girl in class the other day wearing a blue and white bow with the name of her sorority on it. The girl looked a bit funny to say the least. 1. The bow was placed on top of her head. 2. It looked like she made it herself. 3. It was bigger than her face. (All of which are Not okay!)

A few days after the I saw the “baby bow” look, I ran into two different girls  wearing red satin ribbons tied in bows like Snow White. Just a few words of advice…unless your trying to revert back to your childhood, resemble a Disney character, or have someone mistake you for a present, say goodbye to the bows (unless it’s game day, in which case it’s totally appropriate to wear maize and blue bows of all shapes and sizes!)

The proper time to wear a bow!
