It was Green Week on NBC and this is how we celebrate it

share a thirst for giving, special edition

You can see the designs better on the website

Fans of NBC programming: you may have noticed it was Green Week.  I’m hesitant to call it anything more than just a thorough PSA with great color scheme.  To commemorate the whole event, SHEI has found a few “Green” designs you might enjoy.

First, KOR.  I’ve not heard of this company before, but I like the designs for their new BPA-Free “KOR One Hydration Vessels”.  Notice the four different colors?  They indicate which non-profit associated with their “Thirst for Giving” campaign will received a donation because of your purchase.  After reading that scary article about FIJI water in Mother Jones, I’m not sure I’ll buy bottled water again so this could be a smart purchase.

I like.

I was impressed by this post from Inhabitat.com about Recycled Paperpulp Cabinets by Debbie Wijskamp.  You can see more examples of her work here – she’s no one-trick horse, that’s for sure.

Finally, recycle some content!  We’ve posted on similar topics in the past so this would be a great time to (re)read our posts on sustainable initiatives in municipalities, practical “green” design, and just freakin’ cool “green” designs.

Happy Green Week!
