Into the Woods, featured in the 08/09 issue

The SHEI fashion team is composed of Ann Arbor’s finest and most fabulous stylists and we are looking for new members! In fashion, we develope concepts for all photo shoots in the magazine and blog, then style and direct them. Fantastic music, flashing lights, glamorous models, and clothes flying everywhere–what could be better?

Furthermore, all members of the fashion team are encouraged to come up with their own ideas for shoots–and if they are approved by the editors, then you get to direct them yourself! You do not need any experience in styling or fashion, just an artistic vision!  Check out this behind-the-scenes look at a SHEI photo-shoot from earlier this summer.

In addition to coordinating SHEI’s photoshoots, we are also in charge of any fashion shows put on throughout the year–including our annual launch party, SHEIfest. This includes styling all of the models and coming up with a cohesive theme to send down the runway.

So if you have any interest in joining the avant-garde world of the glittering and the glamorous, then come check us out at either of our mass meetings on Wednesday, September 16, in the Michigan room at the League OR on Thursday, September 17th in the East room at Pierpont, both at 8PM. And don’t forget about our Model Call/Mixer at the Work Gallery on State Street, Thursday, September 24 from 6-9!
