Perfect Print: Paisley

Introducing: Alexandra.  Interested in journalism, Alexandra spent the last summer in New York City interning with a leading women’s interest magazine.  She loves autumn, which is what inspired this post on the re-emergence of the paisley scarf for this season.

Enough of the leopard print. Seriously. The pattern that will be big for this fall is paisley. Marc Jacobs just put out his scarves and, trust me, there’s a lot of paisley! New York Magazine covered the new, eighties-inspired trend. The good thing about paisley? It adds bright colors to any gloomy day. Marc Jacobs’ electric print scarves come in cashmere, silk, and wool. Dress it up or dress it down. Use it for style or use it for warmth.

For fall it’s going to be all about subtle looks (grey and black sweaters) with a pop of color, like orange and pink paisley print!

Check out the coolest ways to wear your paisley-print scarves this fall.

Add a little bit of color to those gloomy fall days. Just because the weather is dull doesn’t mean that you have to be!
