The Monarchy gets Twitter and I get the Monarchy
It seems fitting that the British Monarchy should do something so very common as get a Twitter account when so many of the Fall 09 fashion collections seem to channeling royalty.

Lacroix wins at Pretty Pretty Princess

Alexis Mabille and Prince Charming
This headpiece comes from Christian Lacroix and if this doesn’t scream “I’m a pretty princess” then I don’t know what does.
I saw Cinderella…isn’t this what the Prince wore to the Royal ball? Or was it the King? This time around it’s courtesy of Alexis Mabille.
Purple is a Royal color, right? Jean Paul Gaultier makes it seem so with this silk and fur robe.
And this does remind me of pretty much every picture I’ve ever seen of Queen Victoria (head to toe in black) but I suppose Chanel does it better.
And finally, I’ve got to end as I started on Christian Lacroix…I’m sorry but, does anyone else see the Napoleon hat??

What the Queen wears to bed? by Jean Paul Gaultier
All the same, I’m glad the Emperor‘s got representation.
Thank you for indulging me,

Chanel and the little (?) black dress
