This is so beyond “Sleepless in Seattle”

31 May 2009 2 Comments

It’s week two of the largest film festival in the United States – the Seattle International Film Festival, held in rainy Seattle Washington.  This year the SIFF runs from May 21st through June 14th and film buffs in the area can buy a 6-pack of tickets or a 20-pack, each with a use-limit of 2 tickets per screening.

The Festival is jam-packed with some really exciting events.  How much is plane fare to Seattle from Detroit Metro??

This year features a Scavenger Hunt, an Online Auction, and Film-Making Workshop for young directors and actors. Spike Lee was honored by the SIFF last Wednesday for his achievements in film directing while you can spend an Evening with Francis Ford Coppola and enjoy a screening of his first original screenplay since 1974, Tetro.

And the festival even has its own iPhone application – iSIFF.
