Toasty Texting.
Anyone who has made it through an Ann Arbor winter knows that the temperatures can drop pretty low, especially when the wind starts blowing. And believe me, it’s coming. The last thing you want is to be caught without proper coverage from the elements.
But, what does this mean for the future of texting on the way to and from class? We all know you do it – when else can you get updates on the latest gossip from last night’s trip to Skeeps? But, whether you’re using a Blackberry or iPhone, your hands are no match for the cold Ann Arbor air. And let’s face it, texting with gloves on, simply does not work.
Luckily, one start-up company is looking to solve all of our problems. Â The cleverly-named, Mittenberry, sells specially made mittens with fold-back thumb-pieces that allow for easy access to texting. The wool mittens are currently available in pink, grey, and winter white. All mittens are priced at $24.99, and can be purchased through the company website.
Guys, are you a little jealous? Not to worry, Mittenberry plans to expand their line to men’s accessories very soon.
