SHAPE-UP alarm clock from Fred & Friends

This product looks fantastic and I want one! It’s a dumbbell shaped alarm clock that won’t turn itself off until you GET UP and do 30 reps!

As the website says: “Annoying? Maybe. Effective? Unquestionably!”  It’s another whimsical product from Fred & Friends.  If their stuff looks familiar that might be because some of it is sold locally at Middle Earth on South University.

I really love random objects like this and apparently so do a lot of people, according to this USA Today article from a couple of months ago. It suggests that in stressful economic/war/random celebrity death filled times such as these, consumers like to buy “happy products”.
