It’s supposed to rain tonight and for the next couple of days.  In preparation for going under water, you might want to check out this Mermaid site.  Apparently it’s the next fad…way more than cupcakes. 

Though I remain skeptical, it does bring up memories of my 4th birthday party, which was mermaid-themed.  And like many, I too was born in the year of the mermaid.  But my hunch is that the Mermaid-fad won’t catch on any more than a style for a prom dress, and remain a novelty show in Florida.  And if I’m wrong, you should know that this blog is entirely edit-able…
