A Video Camera for iPod Touch?

5 February 2010 No Comment

Creepin' on some hiker with my new iPod Touch.

It seems as if Apple’s iPod Touch is becoming increasingly similar to the iPhone. As Gizmodo recently announced on their blog, Apple has plans to bring video recording technology to their newest music player. Imagine: Apps that allow you to not only watch music videos, but record them too! And how about the potential for video blogging on the go?!

Okay, so the iPhone already has this technology – and you don’t even need to be in range of a Wi-Fi network. So why is Apple even bothering? Well, the iPhone comes with a hefty two year contract from at&t, and the iPod Touch doesn’t. So for those who don’t need a phone but want a decked-out mp3 player and gaming device, Apple’s patent for iPod Touch + video is welcome news.
