SHEI ran a series of articles on Bilal’s Stand, a movie by U-M alum Sultan Sharrief, during its Sundance premiere. The film is making waves again, this time having been selected for the New Directors/New Films Festival presented by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Film Society of Lincoln Center (FSLC). The festival, now in its thirty-ninth year, introduces the work of new directors from around the world to NYC audiences.
Bilal’s Stand will play at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26 at MoMA and at 5:30 p.m on Saturday, March 27 at FSLC.
