Move over Snooki, J-Woww, and The Situation. The Jersey Shore has a new spectacle and it doesn’t involve orange skin or hair bumps.

In the heart of Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey, is the tallest Ferris wheel on the East Coast. But this Ferris wheel is different than most. This Ferris wheel is also a new, hot brunch spot. Visitors to the Jersey Shore now have the option of dining 160 feet above sea level. The “Ferris Wheel Breakfast,” has been called a “picnic in the sky.”

Four guests can fit  per gondola and the 45-minute brunch averages at $40 per person. A little pricier than you were hoping? Keep in mind that the brunch is adorned with high-end china, white linen tablecloths, and food prepared by a well-known executive chef, Walter Jurusz. In an interview with AOL, Jurusz described the most popular item on the menu:

Since we’re at the Jersey Shore, the number one item so far is the shrimp and lobster omelet.

Other items on the menu include smoked salmon scrambled eggs, freshly made Belgian waffles, the Jersey tomato BLT with fried egg, and the steak and egg scramble.

Jack Morey, son of Morey’s Piers founder, explained the reason behind Breakfast in the Sky:

It’s the beach. It’s the ocean. It’s the dolphins leaping. When you start reminding yourself why people came here in the first place, how do we ingrain that into our business better?

And people love the idea. Reservations began on June 1st and, so far, there have been anniversary and birthday celebrations, in addition to families visiting the Jersey Shore, hoping to see spectacular views of the beachfront below.
