“Buy Indie in Ypsi”

7 July 2010 No Comment

If you can’t get enough of the art fair scene this summer, check out something a little off the beaten path. This Saturday, July 10th, The Shadow Art Fair will take place in Ypsilanti. The fair happens twice a year at the Corner Brewery and features up to 40 local indie vendors. Unlike the Ann Arbor Art Fair, this fair is meant to be a place for artists to meet each other.  As a result, it’s affordable and student friendly.  Admission is only $.02 (really, it is!) and you can expect a very eclectic variety of arts and crafts.

For those of the legal age, the Corner Brewery will be open for business during the fair. It’s not often that you can enjoy a micro-brew beer while browsing arts and crafts.

For more information and a list of vendors, check out  the official website.
