I’ll keep this post short and sweet, mainly because there’s not much one can write about the topic at hand. This evening, while grocery shopping with my roommate at Whole Foods, I noticed something intriguing on the bathroom door: Clean-Escape. I made a note of it in my phone and got home to do a bit of research. Clean-Escape: A New, Revolutionary Way to Open Doors. I’ll admit, it’s not the most attractive looking device in the world. The Clean-Escape website defines it as: “a heavy-duty stainless steel bracket with silicone rubber pads that mounts to the bottom of inward swinging doors.  The shape of the door opener allows a person to use his or her foot to open the door without touching the door handle!” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

I am, without a doubt, the type person you see in the lavatory, opening the door with paper towel, doing a gymnastics-like maneuver to throw out the paper towel without letting the door close. You get the picture.  Now if only the disgusting bathrooms near the Fishbowl would invest in this…

Goodbye Gymnastics Moves, Hello Clean-Escape!
