Desperately in love with this Stationary

While it seems clear that stationary will never again be a frequently used item, I can’t help but wish that it would – especially after checking out these beautiful designs from stationary retailers!

Admittedly, this all began after a trip to Borders, the bookstore where one can spend hours reading between the stunning covers of…the Papyrus Stationary. And I could spend hours at Middle Earth doing exactly the same thing (but with a wider selection). But since this is SHEI-Blog, and we’re all about supporting independent and talented artisans, I would encourage any of you bitten by the stationary bug to check out Subtitude.  They’re based out of Montreal and their designs are quirky and intricate, like that of this postcard called love from faraway.

And I do believe that every college student should have a box of personalized stationary for sending thank you’s and the like…Crane & Company has elegant monogram designs but of course, you can always design your own from scratch by DIY’ing yourself a set or creating a custom order from your local printer.

I am further impressed with the designs from Art Star Gallery & Boutique in Philadelphia.

By the way – using actual paper to send messages instead of a keyboard does leave an impact on the environment but I would like to point out that the right stationary with a well-phrased line rarely ends up in a landfill.

Best Wishes,
