Fashion trends across the pond

Emma Watson in Burberry
London, England isn’t just home to the Queen and double-decker buses. It’s also a culture and fashion hotspot, and the city’s vibrant mix of old and new applies to its current fashion trends as well as its buildings and infrastructure.
Here are some popular looks I noticed on a recent trip to the capital of Britain - not counting the numerous fanny packs and bucket hats adored by the city’s tourists.
Denim jackets, blazers and trenchcoats are a few classics making a comeback in the United Kingdom. Emma Watson sports a Burberry trenchcoat on the billboard outside the retailer’s London store, and Gap stocks a more affordable version. Blazers by Ralph Lauren add a sharp touch to Londoners’ casual outfits, and denim jackets such as this one from Diesel are spiced up with stretchy, form-fitting fabric.
As for newer styles, polo shirts with popped collars and men’s capris are very in. Check out Fred Perry ( British tennis star Andy Murray’s outfitter) for a good selection of polos and London’s Pepe Jeans for men’s capris. A quick warning: exercise caution when combining popped collars with capris.
