<p>Fans of NBC programming: you may have noticed it was <a href="http://www.nbc.com/green/about/" target="_blank">Green Week</a>.  I&#8217;m hesitant to call it anything more than just a thorough <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_service_announcement" target="_blank">PSA</a> with great color scheme.  To commemorate the whole event, SHEI has found a few &#8220;Green&#8221; designs you might enjoy. <span id="more-2836"></span></p>
<p>First, <a href="http://www.korwater.com/" target="_blank">KOR</a>.  I&#8217;ve not heard of this company before, but I like the designs for their new BPA-Free &#8220;KOR One Hydration Vessels&#8221;.  Notice the four different colors?  They indicate <a href="http://www.korwater.com/tfg" target="_blank">which non-profit</a> associated with their &#8220;<a href="http://www.korwater.com/tfg" target="_blank">Thirst for Giving</a>&#8221; campaign will received a donation because of your purchase.  After reading that <a href="http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/09/fiji-spin-bottle" target="_blank">scary article about FIJI water in <em>Mother Jones</em></a>, I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ll buy bottled water again so this could be a smart purchase.</p>
<div class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 226px"><img title="http://www.igreenspot.com/wp-content/uploads/paper-pulp-cabinet1.jpg" src="http://www.igreenspot.com/wp-content/uploads/paper-pulp-cabinet1.jpg" alt="" width="216" height="202" /><p class="wp-caption-text">I like.</p></div>
<p>I was impressed by this post from Inhabitat.com about <a href="http://www.inhabitat.com/2009/11/03/recycled-paperpulp-cabinet-by-debbie-wijskamp/#more-68002" target="_blank">Recycled Paperpulp Cabinets</a> by Debbie Wijskamp.  You can see more examples of her work <a href="http://www.debbiewijskamp.com/" target="_blank">here</a> &#8211; she&#8217;s no one-trick horse, that&#8217;s for sure.</p>
<p>Finally, recycle some content!  We&#8217;ve posted on similar topics in the past so this would be a great time to (re)read our posts on <a href="http://www.sheimagazine.com/blog/2009/new-amsterdam-green-clean/" target="_blank">sustainable initiatives in municipalities</a>, <a href="http://www.sheimagazine.com/blog/2009/something-to-say-about-sustainable-design/" target="_blank">practical &#8220;green&#8221; design</a>, and <a href="http://www.sheimagazine.com/blog/2009/the-epitome-of-green-furniture/" target="_blank">just freakin&#8217; cool &#8220;green&#8221; designs</a>.</p>
<p>Happy Green Week!</p>
