Will Defebaugh

Will Defebaugh, Editor-in-Chief

Will Defebaugh is a senior in the Residential College at the University of Michigan double majoring in Creative Writing and Communications. He is passionate about food, literature, the arts, and above all else — publishing. He was reading magazines before books, enthralled by their ability to capture community and culture (a sentiment he still feels today). The only other one of his interests that dates back further is fashion, mostly for the fun of playing dress up (a sentiment he still feels today). He has interned at both GQ and Vogue in New York City, and has been an active member of SHEI since his freshman year. Long live print!

Grace Grande-Cassell, Creative Director

Josh Wu

Joshua Wu,Business Director
As the Business Director, Josh’s job is to oversee the Finance, Public Relations, and Marketing departments. He makes sure that each team knows what they need to do and when to do it, making sure everything goes as planned. In addition to managing the business side of SHEI, Josh also makes any executive decisions on location of events, advertising campaigns, and themes in coordinance with the Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director. What he envisions for SHEI is for its market to grow outside of just the Southeast, Michigan region and become more recognized nationally. He believes that this goal is not out of SHEI’s reach and look forward to working with everyone in the coming school semester.
