Ladies, Grab Your Chocolate: It's Time for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Someone please pass the Ben and Jerry's while we try to fill this gaping hole in our self confidence. Yes, that's right Victoria's Secret did it again. All 47 beautiful models and our favorite pop stars, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Hozier, and Ed Sheeran, traveled across the pond to London, England to deliver another incredible fashion show. The show took our breaths away once again, with its vibrant colors, beautiful lingerie detailed with sequins and lace, and of course the signature angel wings. The entire show radiated excitement, energy, and beauty.  This year's show included incredible looks and accessories we just could not keep our eyes off, and of course some juicy stories. First of all, the famous Fantasy Bra.  The Fantasy Bra has been a signature addition to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows since 2001.  These bras are known as the focal point of the show and are usually designed with the aid of a renowned jeweler.  This year stood out from previous years because instead of one Fantasy Bra, the fashion show included two Exotic Traveler inspired Fantasy Bras designed by Mouawad. Models Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio had the honor of wearing the two million dollar bras embellished with rubies, diamonds, and blue sapphires down the runway. The ladies sparkled in the beautifully detailed ensembles to Ed Sheeran's performance of  Thinking Out Loud.

Besides the incredible lingerie modeled by the ladies, there was another accessory that caught the eye. Some ensembles featured captivating shoes by British designer Nicholas Kirkwood. His cage-like lace up boots were the icing on these scrumptious looks.

And of course, we cannot forget about the incredible musicians that graced the runway on this annual extravaganza. Ariana Grande made her debut appearance performing for the "University of PINK" segment of the show. Grande delivered a performance that mirrored the bright and playful looks worn by the models during her performance.  Taylor Swift also joined the models for her second consecutive year. She performed on the show dressed in gorgeous black lingerie, leaving us wondering if she was following in the footsteps of best friend Karlie Kloss. Whether or not the matching was intentional, Swift looked amazing in her flirty pink nightwear and a sexy black and lace ensemble. The pop star closed the show with the new hit "Style" from her 1989 album, inspired by ex-flame Harry Styles. There is no one else we could have pictured closing the show, and Taylor's energy and talent lit up the stage with excitement.

But what is a show without some juicy drama or a few bloopers? Even Victoria's Secret cannot avoid them. Just hours after the show, pictures of Ariana Grande began filling the internet. During her performance the pop star accidentally got hit in the face by Elsa Hosk's pink angel wing-- what are the chances, right? Luckily, Grande had a wonderful sense of humor and took to Twitter saying "A Victoria's Secret angel accidentally smacked me in the face with her wings and it was awesome #goals #bangbangintomyface."

The funny thing is, if you have not been following the news you wouldn't have known it even happened because Victoria's Secret omitted the incident from the airing of the fashion show on television. What many people do not know is that the show is actually performed and recorded twice, so producers can weave together the best shots to create a best show possible -- Victoria's Secret does not leave much to chance.

In addition, Taylor Swift's attendance at the show has a slightly longer story to it.  We all remember her sparkly performance of the 2013 show that absolutely wowed us, but one of the models from last year's show disagreed. Australian model Jessica Hart made a comment last year that Taylor Swift just did not "fit in" at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. This comment stuck with Taylor, and she allegedly told Victoria's Secret she would only return to the catwalk if Jessica Hart was not included in the lineup.

And this takes us to the 2014 show, with Taylor Swift of course rocking the show, but also an absent Jessica Hart. So was Jessica Hart just preoccupied with a different event, or was it due to Taylor's request? We can't know for certain, but we do know that she made sure to prove Hart's comment wrong at this year's show. Taylor fit the bill perfectly for this year's performance, even dressing like a true Angel in her beautiful silky and sheer ensembles.

All in all, congratulations to Victoria's Secret for another incredible fashion show that as usual left us wanting more. From the incredible designs and outfits to the entertainment, each aspect of the show was just as captivating as the next. We cannot wait to see what 2015 will have in store for Victoria's Secret!
