Bridget Cook

Hello and welcome to my Music Box!  This is my first post so I thought I should introduce myself.  My name is Bridget and I’m a sophomore majoring in English and Program in the Environment.  I have always loved music, and while my taste can range from country to top 40 and everything in between, my favorite genres are Alterative and Folk.  I’ll do my best to provide a variety in these playlists and already have some fun ideas brewing so stay tuned for some cool music!  And without further ado, my first playlist:

With New Years' Resolutions long forgotten, snow on the ground, and classes starting back up, January can be a frustrating month.  Good news though, it’s February now!  Whether you’ve already given up on your diet or work out plan, or you feel like you’re drowning in readings and tests, here are some songs to give you a little extra spring in your step!

Playlist: Goodbye January and Hello February!

My personal favorite of these songs comes from Vancouver natives, the Runaway Club.  “Good Together” features a clip of sound from an episode of Friends—a clip of a sad moment that forces a smile on my face.  While this song usually encourages me to rewatch old episodes on netflix rather than actually do my work, it makes me happy and I hope it does the same for you!
