Her Campus, a Collegiette's Guide to Life

Paige Pfleger

Her Campus is an online community created and cultivated by college women, for college women. After it's creation in 2009 by three collegiettes at Harvard, the magazine has grown to feature chapters in over 200 universities across America, including our own campus here in Ann Arbor. Her Campus has been an outlet for writers to blog about anything from music festivals to sports in a public forum. Writers from Her Campus have gone on to work for Glamour, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Seventeen, Marie Claire, People, The Huffington Post and more. Her Campus has also formed partnerships with Seventeen, USA Today, and worked with big name brands like Victoria’s Secret PINK.

Her Campus hopes to be the “leading multi-platform brand in the female college space”, according to They also aim to cultivate a community of college students and serve their set of needs, as well as help provide a launching point for women who hope to pursue a career in journalism.

Her Campus is active on all of their featured campuses, including ours here in Ann Arbor. SHEI is proud to be working with Her Campus for our upcoming SHEI-Fest, and grateful for their contributions to the magazine, as well as all of the opportunities Her Campus offers to student journalists.
