SHEI Magazine is a University of Michigan student-run fashion, art, and pop culture publication. Everything from the photography, writing, modeling, editing, and publicity of our bi-yearly print publications and monthly digital mini is created by students who attend the University of Michigan. Founded in 1999, SHEI Magazine continues to produce issues of professional quality, as well as provide real-world experience to students interested in journalism, publishing, and the fashion industries.

In 2002, the alice + olivia brand was launched by Stacey Bendet and Rebecca Matchett, two former Penn classmates.  The duo debuted Bendet’s first designs at the Russian Tea Room with an audience that included fashion industry insiders and celebrities. The “just pants” collection that was then introduced was the start to a very successful label. Since the introduction of the alice + olivia label, the brand has expanded and now encompasses RTW, childrenswear, and footwear. It is sold worldwide in stores including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue. On November 1, 2013 (online only, until November 12, 2013) alice + olivia will be making it's Starbucks debut. alice + olivia/Starbucks® Bearista Bear & Designer Double Wall Ceramic Tumbler

The collaboration of Starbucks and alice + olivia leads us to the exciting and limited-edition holiday gifts which include the “Barista Bear” and “Designer Double Wall Ceramic Tumbler.” The “Barista Bear,” inspired by the “whimsical and flirty with the sexy and sophisticated” styled clothing, sports a pleated black and white dress with pops of red. This is similar to the “holiday mug,” which shows the alice + olivia “signature stripe on a signature tutu.” These adorable gifts are a must have for the holiday season!
