Happy Thanksgiving from SHEI!

SHEI Staff

Although you'll probably soon be up to your elbows in mashed potatoes and awkward conversations, we at SHEI wanted to take the time to wish you all the happiest of Thanksgivings.

And if for some reason you're struggling to come up with something to be thankful for, here are some helpful reminders:

(in no particular order)

 The Thanksgiving Day Parade

A tradition now 87 years strong.  Thanks to the beautiful Carrie Underwood, those long-legged Rockettes, dancing minions, and of course the always entertaining Al Roker!

The Peanuts

Admit it, you would love it if Snoopy busted in with his little chef hat and whipped up a Thanksgiving Day dinner of nothing by popcorn and buttered toast.

Family

We know it's cliche, but it just wouldn't be the holidays without them.

Food

Even if you're not a turkey person, you've got the kings of comfort food coming to the table: buttery mashed potatoes, pitchers of gravy, hot rolls, and dozens and dozens of pie.  It's like all it wants to do is give you a hug.

How else would we know what everyone's Thanksgiving dinner looks like?

Friends

Love 'em, hate 'em, gotta have 'em.  Going home for Thanksgiving means going home to see those few high school friends you been missing all semester.  But back together again, it's like nothing ever changed.
